Ranunculus update in April

Updated: May 7, 2024

and why I don't grow them in pots.

If you want you can watch my video here, which pretty much comprehensively explains why I don't grow my ranunculus in pots and gives you my 5 reasons why I just don't choose to do it myself but I also give work arounds for those of you with smaller gardens, balcony gardens and container gardens, if you're only option is to grow them in pots.

My ranunculus in April are on course to flower at the usual time but it is my third year of growing them in this particular patch and they were looking a little yellow around the leaves, so I have fed them with a home made fertiliser already and will be feeding them weekly now, with my homemade fertiliser before and during the blooming period.

Other than that they are really just looking after themselves right now. I will update you of course when they flower.
