To make the sweet pea wigwam you will need:

1. Bamboo canes (about 6-8) around 5-6ft tall.
2. Twine, cheap or posh, it's up to you.
3. That's it believe it or not!

How to make them.

All you need to do is drive the fattest end of each cane into the ground creating a circle with them. Gather the thinner ends at the top and tie together with your chosen twine, and wind the rest of the twine around and down the outside of the wigwam like a helter skelter tying it off at the bottom. I like to attach solar fairy lights (I buy mine from home bargains...see the very bottom of the article for a photo of the actual product I use and note I am not sponsored to endorse them). I place the solar panel at the top of the tee pee and follow the twine down with the lights. That's it. All done. So simple.

NOTE:

You can save money by using prunings from long stems of trees or hedges in your garden such as yew, or pear or cherry. Just clean up the stems and use as with the bamboo.
